ISWED

2024 International Symposium on World Ecological Design: Intelligent Design and Sustainable Development (ISWED2024), hosted by the World Eco-Design Organization (UN Consultative Status NGO), will be held in Wuhan, China on 18-20 October, 2024. With the increasingly serious global climate change and resource scarcity issues, sustainable development has become a focus of international society. Design, as an important part of human activities, plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable development. In order to promote communication and cooperation in the field of design and sustainable development and improve the innovative ability of designers in sustainable development, ISWED2024 will invite global experts and scholars to submit research papers related to the theme "Intelligent Design and Sustainable Development". The topic will be launched from five topics of "Intelligent Design and Environmental Sustainability", “Intelligent Design and Social Sustainability", "Intelligent Design and Cultural Sustainability", "Intelligent Design and Technological Innovation" and "Intelligent Design and Business Sustainability".

ISWED2024 will provide a platform for all professionals and researchers from industry and academia to present and discuss recent advances in the field of ecological design. Meanwhile, the ISWED2024 is also a key project in collaboration with the General Collaboration in International Design Education (GCIDE) that jointly launched by the United Nations Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries (UN Technology Bank), Ningbo Innovation Center, Zhejiang University (ZJUNB), World Eco-Design Conference (UN Consultative Status NGO) and some relevant universities at home and abroad.

ISWED2024 will lead experts and scholars in the ecological design profession from China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries will be invited to discuss various topics in depth. All papers will be reviewed by 3-4 reviewers and program chairs of the conference committee will draw the decision based on the score of each paper.

1. Journal of Innovation in Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems (ISSN: 1327-2314) (Ei-Compendex), Special Editor: Prof. Lakhmi C. Jain.
2. International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI) (ISSN: 1941-6237) (Ei-Compendex), Editor in Chief: Dr. Nilanjan Dey.

Some excellent papers will be recommended to SCI journals.
